Ham and Cheese Picnic Bread
It was alright, just very bland. I left out the olives and peppers because no-one in my family likes them. The dough was awfully hard to knead by hand... Very tacky and sticky. The bread was also pretty tasteless. Perhaps I added too much flour in the kneading process... I had no idea what the instructions were talking about when it came to shaping the dough, so I simply spread the filling in the middle of it and folded the ends over the filling. I'll try making this again, adding maybe another 1/2 tsp of sugar to the dough and omitting the egg. Probably will add oregano and finely chopping onion to the filling as well.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread
oh my goodness... this tasted so good!! Nice light crunchy crust, and a fluffy interior... and best of all, it didn't taste of yeast like so many other recipes did. =D It was VERY chewy... my family commented that its texture reminded them of 'fat kueh' (a type of asian steamed cake which is moist and sticky and gummy). So I guess next time I'll substitute a little all-purpose for some of the bread flour. All in all though, its a simple and easy recipe that makes for great results.

Farmer's Bread
Texture-wise, its wonderful! With a crisp crust and fluffy inside. But like others mentioned, its kinda bland. I did add 2 tbsp of sugar like someone suggested, but... I also doubled the quantity of salt. Reckon it would taste pretty good
