This is simply amazing. I've never reviewed a recipe from this site before, but these just got so many compliments I couldnt help it! The only changes I made were to make a streusel/crumb topping (easier, cheaper, and I LOVE stresel/crumb toppings) and used a little more mashed sweet potato than called for, and probably a little less butter. I multiplied the recipe by 4, so I made 26 whole-filled oranges- I figured everyone needed their own! SO time consuming with cleaning the oranges, but the taste was definitely worth it! MAKE THESE!

THIS IS SIMPLY DELICIOUS! I formed three loaves the width of one baking sheet--they dont spread so much and it was able to cook it it all on one sheet. Trust me with this one- check after 30 or 35 minutes of cooking. When LIGHTLY BROWNED, take them out of the oven. Let them cool till warm (about 15 or 20 minutes) and slice. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and lay pieces on sides. bake for 2-3 minutes on each side. Cool completely. Trust me-this seems like they would be undercook but theyre delicious when theyre slightly underbaked. if not, theyre too cakey. so underbake them by 5 minutes or so...TRUST ME!! ENJOY!

This is SOOO delicious. I agree with a previous reviewer that you should either double the batter or cut down on the apples...I split the batter and started spreading half of it in the bottom of a 9 by 13 pan (as called for) but immediately saw it wasnt near enough batter. so i switched to a 7 by 11 pan, put half batter on bottom, covered with only 3/4 of the apple mixture and topped with half of the batter. So, either double batter of cut down on the apples. i dont understand the negative reviews...trust me, this cake DOESNT TASTE PASSOVER and got rave reviews by my family. if you try ANYTHING, TRY THIS--trust me!!!!!!!!!
