Yum! This is especially good with a little grated smoked cheddar or smoked gouda cheese mixed in.

This was a hit with the family. I used smoked sausage the first time and the second I used Jimmy Dean hot sausage. That was really good, hot and lightly sweet. I also used roasted onions instead of using green onions. I wasn't sure how the black beans would look in the soup so first time I used navy beans. Both beans were good in the soup.

This is THE BEST apple pie I have ever tasted. I am not fond of pie in general, but wanted to try it as my family loves it. I used the orange juice, like someone had suggested, added 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 2 dashes nutmeg. A keeper!
