I'm a mother of 3 who come from a line of amazing cooks, so the bar has been set.My family's standard of food is high enough that most restaurants just leave us dissapointed...so we spend a lot of time at home,cooking. We also hunt and ocean fish, so our freezer is always full of yummy meats just waiting to be cooked!! Anything on an open fire wins hands down.No meal is ever better then the ones we eat at our place at the lake!But still...barbecued,graveyed, deepfried,panfried, roasted, baked, fondued, you name it! If it's eatable I love to cook it... too many to mention, always for a LOT of people what ever it was!! mastering my mom's pies, the grill, and having my husband say "this taste's like my mom's"... is a triumph! The first time I tried to make spagetti to impress my husband when we started dating, I was 16 and didn't think I needed a recipe book!!! I didn't even know at the time to stir the noodles while they boil!!!What a burnedup, gummy, clumpy, oversalty disaster...butI still won his heart for trying...
