Very good - I also put the rub under the skin and cooked it breast side down. I think next time I will completely remove the skin - would be better that way!

Did as suggested and added extra seasonings. Made a double recipe - but one of the spices probably the ground pepper should not be doubled! Very good will make again!!!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

This was great. I did as she noted on her comment in the most helpful section. Also, I added one carrot I did peelings/shavings. I also added one red pepper diced & used dried onions. Added one tablespoon ketchup to the top. Used bread crumbs. Still turned out good! We prefer the sweet meatloaf but hubby is newly diabetic so we are trying to make adjustments!

French Toast Souffle

Very good recipe. I think it tastes best when you use 12 grain bread and honey & nut cream cheese. In the reviews section - you can rate by most helpful. I have used the suggestion of using less cream cheese, adding syrup, & less eggs, plus more half & half & thickly buttering the pan. I often get this as a request. Taste great. My only caution - you do need to let it set in the fridge for a few hours (at least). This way everything has a chance to set. And don't forget to let it set out so you don't break your dish (been there done that). Will keep and make often!

I also made changes to this. I pulled up the recommendations and doubled everything, added milk, some suggested seasonings and more cheese. I liked it, tasted just like I remember but better!

Love it! I did use some of the advice adding - 1/4 cup of cream, 3 tbs teriyaki sauce, 1/2 cup of butter 1/2 cup olive oil (instead of just butter), Cajun seasoning (what I already have in cabinet) and bow tie pasta. I also serve steamed broccoli on the side.

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
This was not for me, this also had bad side effects for my family. I used real mushrooms too (don't prefer the canned ones). Think it had too many beef cubes - maybe try one less? Still don't know if I would like it though. I really like cream based mushroom soup type stroganoff but that is NOT the way I would like to make it (that's the reason I tried this recipe) will keep looking.

The Best Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
Have made this several times - everyone loves it. Because I have a little guy - I have even used teddy graham's in the recipe - still taste excellent (and cost less). Also I prefer to use 2 containers of whipped cream because 1 isn't enough for more than one layer. Found the pudding to be plentiful though :)

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
Ok so I changed tons of things in this recipe because I didn't have what it called for but it turned out wonderful!!! Changes as follows: 1. I grilled my chicken with onions since I did not have onion powder - I used about 1/2 of a small white onion salt & peppered them 2. I placed all of the Soup like ingredients in the soup pan and didn't realize it called for 26 oz of cream of chicken soup so I only used one can, also replaced cream of mushroom with cream of celery also couldn't find salt so I used Ms. Dash instead 3. Boiled ingredients and then added dry egg noodles (didn't have frozen ones) and let boil for about 5 mins, then I added the grilled chicken and onions and about 1/4 cup fresh sliced mushrooms and continued to boil until noodles where al dente (still a little firm but done). Served over mashed potatoes. The sauce had thickened considerably - like a gravy. IT WAS HEAVENLY!!!! My husband who doesn't like gravy even ate it and liked it (although I don't think it is his favorite meal) - he even said I could make it again, just not every week :) ---He also ate the leftovers - which is saying alot for him, and they tasted just as great as the night before!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
OH MY GOSH! I will never make another cookie again!!!! I have actually made another cookie from this website (involves instant pudding mix) and they turned out good but... This is the best cookie! It is soft (I don't know about chewy - they didn't last long). I am currently making the rest of the batch will taste tomorrow but they are great right after they have cooled from the oven yummy! Didn't have shortening so I made with 1 cup of butter and one cup of M&M's with 1/2 cup chocolate chips (add a little color for the kids). I thought they were going to be to creamy too - but they turned out all right. I did place the batter in the fridge for about an hour so that the dough was easier to work with - made it a bit more firm so measuring cookies was easier. Made the first batch on my cooking stone had to add 2 more mins. Second batch was on my reg. cookie sheet and I still baked for 12 mins. Found it difficult to tell by looking if they were done. I would advice a test run to determine the best time for your oven. Also found that it yeilded 32 cookies if using a scoop that is a little over a tablespoon (special scoop). Good luck!

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
I added shrimp to this - yummy! This is great to make anytime I have guests and need to whip something up quickly. I don't like the way the cheese clumps though so I am currently working on added ingredients such as cream, or some of the pasta water, or some mascarpone cheese, etc to make it less clumpy. Haven't found a formula that makes it smooth instead of clumpy but this is just too good to give up! Also I am allergic to garlic so I use ginger as a substitue. I first fry the shrimp in the ginger about 2-3 tablespoons this makes the shrimp REALLY yummy! Then I remove the shrimp and make the dish as instructed in the remaining ginger (whatever doesn't stick the the shrimp). I also use extra sun dried tomatoes in oil. --- that is so funny, my cheese clumped because I tossed it into a pan before adding it to the pasta --- well that is one way to warm those tomatoes, lol :) Will try this without warming the cheese.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2005
This was very good! I made this for 5-6 servings using one pound of meat (I have actually purchased a 2nd pan so I can make 2lbs next time). I like things sweet so I thought I would give it a try at full strength - wow! - was that sweet! Next time I am going to try it with about 1/8 less sugar, I still want it sweet but I would like to take it down a notch so I will keep taking it down till I get the right meat to sugar ratio. I also split the sauce putting 1/2 on top and 1/2 on bottum - came out nice and juicy! This is now a family favorite and yet one more thing to do with ground beef!
