About this Cook
I try to make everything easier for myself while cooking since I only have a small amount of energy (thanks to having MS). I will cook anything, not picky at all... I will try anything food wise, but will not continue to eat it if I do not like it, but the important thing is trying new items that you normally would not (keeps life interesting)I LOVE LOVE LOVE spicy food! I have done a wonderful job of fattening up my husband since he came home from Iraq, now he actually looks like a healthy man and not a starving boy!
My favorite things to cook
Like I said I cook everything, I love to make stuffed shells though... I have to have my husband help me stuff them no a days because my hands don't work so well anymore (once again thank you MS) but he is more then happy to do so...
My favorite family cooking traditions
pot luck on Christmas Eve with family, baking christmas cookies on christmas eve day... really puts you in the mood for the holidays
My cooking triumphs
yup don't like to toot my own horn so I will keep them to myself...
My cooking tragedies
Yeah "non stick" pots tend to flake if you use a metal whisk to make gravy!! That is the only thing that I can really think of at the moment

Chicken Tortellini Soup
ok so it is just my husband and myself so I just use most recipes as an "idea"... I dumped one can of reduced sodium chicken broth, one can of veggie broth, one can of fire roasted tomatoes and shredded chicken from the night before... I had a bag of frozen tortellini so I put that it... no spinach in the freezer like I thought so I had to leave that out.... overall we will make this again and again, very good and so very easy!
