These brownies are a huge hit with my friends and family. We have nut allergies so I skipped the nuts. Much tastier if you add 1t of vanilla.

I made this for a Christmas party and everyone LOVED it. I really think it is quite tasty and prefer it a little spicy so I added a little more Frank's Hot Sauce but otherwise I think it's best left as is. Excellent with Celery and Chicken in a biskit crackers.

I am sorry to say I was disappointed with this recipe. The leftover mixture you are supposed to "crumble" on top is not able to be crumbled. When I baked it and was finally golden brown on top it had already burned the bottom of the bars and tasted terrible. I wouldn't rule out trying to make the bars again, however I would maybe suggest using less peanut butter so that you can crumble the mix on top, and would pull them out of the oven before they start to appear golden brown on top.
