About this Cook
My cooking tragedies
I started cooking very young, I was making cupcakes and got baking soda confused with baking powder, yuck! But my brother eat them all!

Easy Potato Sausage Soup
This was very good. I did follow the other reviews some, in that I used chicken broth instead of water. I also added celery, I could not imagine potato soup without it! I also added 2 cloves of garlic, and used olive oil instead of margarine. I think the soup would be good without any changes, but is very easy to customize to individual tastes.

Golden Sweet Cornbread
I made this tonight to serve with soup. It was excellent! I drizzled a little honey on the warm bread, hummmmmm.

Kolaches From the Bread Machine
This was very good. Only problem I had was the dough raised so well, it went over the sides of the pan. I have a 2lb machine, so I thought it should have been large enough. I took these to work, and my boss thought they were almost as good as the ones his Grandmother used to make. I made my own filling, cream cheese with Posypka on top. Yummy!
