10 minutes is perfect timing. I will make again but double the amount of ginger. Nice and chewy.

If there were half stars I would have rated 3 1/2. My family said it was "fine" but nothing outstanding. They liked the pastry - which was homemade. There seemed to been a seasoning or herb missing to give it oomph. I sauteed the leeks, fresh garlic and a shallot in a bit of oil, just until wilted. Im glad I did that as I cant imagine the texture or taste without having done so.

1 tsp of chili powder is not enough seasoning. I added extra cumin, chili powder, paprika and pepper. I used half mayo / sour cream. I couldnt taste either so dont be afraid to use mayo! Loved the corn in it too. We had whole grain nacho chips. They have loads of flavour too. This is a good family size casserole.
