Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
I am a great-grandmother & am considered an excellent baker, but old dogs can learn new tricks!! This is the best apple pie I've ever made! I usually don't measure, but made this exactly as written, with the exception of a little cinnamon. The old great-grandfather thats been hitched to me for 51 years has fallen more in love with me for making him this pie. He thinks that I'm the best cook ever!!! Should I tell him about Grandma Ople?? Anyway, made with the lattice crust & everything, perfect with Granny Smith apples. As for Grandma Ople, she has left a great legacy behind, not only to her family, but to thousands of others who like to bake & or eat great food. It's on my Thanksgiving menu along with my other pies!!! Thanks to her grand-daughter for submitting her treasure for us to enjoy.

Deep South Fried Chicken
delicious !! I was raised on chicken fried this way. Tastes best fried with the skin on & using shortening or lard instead of vegetable oil. We enjoyed this very much but because of fat & calories, will have this only occasionally.

Honey Chicken Stir-Fry
this was very good. After reading reviews, I added extra garlic, fresh ginger & a small can of water chestnuts. Fast & easy for a busy day !
