excellent recipe! this is the first time my husband wants to bring a batch for his parents to try!
i made some modifications based on previous reviews, and also because i have celiac disease and need my meals to be gluten free.
meatballs:
added 1/4 tsp basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and onion powder; used fresh garlic and fresh onions; used gluten free bread that i blended to make 1 cup of crumbs; added 1/2 c milk; doubled parmesan.
-still needed some flavor. however, since the sauce is sooo flavorful, it was a good balance so i wouldn't change anything.
sauce:
added 1 tsp basil, 2 1/2 tsp oregano
the meatballs cooked through after 30 minutes and i did not bake them beforehand.
