I am a special education teacher and varsity basketball coach. I teach about 10 miles from the US/Mexico border. I commute 120+ miles every day to teach (gotta love my job!!) I love learning how to cook authentic Mexican dishes. My husband is Mexican, and his mother has taught me how to make home-made tamales, enchiladas, caldo de queso (cheese soup) and other Mexican foods. I also love to cook chili, and recently won a chili cook off!! Making sugar cookies with my mom at Christmas. Taking cake-decorating classes and making very intracate designs, and having my cakes turn out beautiful and edible!! I cannot bake a frozen pizza without burning it!
