Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
I have additionaly questions! I think I am doing something wrong! Hopefully someone can help! How long should the sugar/butter mixture simmer? I tried making the sugar/butter mixture twice but both times is turned out not so liquidy! It was imposible to pour through the lattice since it was so thick. I can't figure out what I've done wrong! Can someone help clarify.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I
I was disappointed with this recipe. From the excellent reviews, I expected it to taste better. Here are my opinions. - Crust was a little too overpowering for me. Next time I will stick to a pure graham cracker crust. - The top looked brown to me and not very pretty. I'm wondering if cooking it an hour is too long. If I make this again, I would try 45 minutes instead. - It too heavy and not sweet enough for my taste. I thought the flavor was very blah. While I did not love it, some other people who tried it really liked it. However, they prefer cheesecakes that are not very sweet. If you have more of a sweet tooth, I would suggest looking for a different recipe.

Milk Chocolate Pecan Pie
This was very good, but I over-cooked it, due to the instructions. Ignore the instructions that says a knife should come out clean... With the chocolate chips and corn syrup, it will not come out clean even when done cooking. I cooked mine 10 minutes over because I was waiting for my knife to come out clean,(never did) and it ended up a little hard and burnt on the edges. The center was delicious though!
