Savory Foccacia Pie

Not too good. It might be better with goat cheese than Feta cheese, but it was a little too strong with the sundried red peppers/tomatoes. We didn't eat much of it and it got overdone.

Grandma B's Bean Soup

This recipe was fantastic. I had to add chicken broth, garlic and oregano to punch up the flavor, but it turned out great. It made a ton and the entire house smelled yummy when we got home. Put this with some crusty bread and it's an entire meal.

Braised Chicken Thighs and Vegetables

Savory Swiss Chard

This was ok. The Swiss Chard wilts so much that it doesn't go very far. The taste was ok, but I'm not a huge Swiss Chard fan. But, it was good for me to eat. I might try it with Spinach next time.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Wonderful tasting and will make it again. It is a very rich dish, so a little goes a long way. I wrapped some of them with two slices of bacon and that worked better. Make sure to use non-colored toothpicks.

Fried Cheese sticks

These were fantastic! The exact time that worked for us was 2.5 minutes. We tried double-wrapping them to keep the cheese from coming out and it worked. Will double-wrap them all next time.

Chicken Breast topped with Peas, Asparagus, Tarragon and Melted Fontina

This got raves from my husband and said to make it more often. He made a special call to my office telling me how good it was. I have to admit, I loved it too. I used Provolone because I didn't have Fontina. I didn't use peas because I didn't have them. I would use less oil on the chicken next time. I used about 3-4 tbsp this time. I think 2.5 would be fine.

Bread Machine Focaccia

This is a fantastic and easy bread. The entire family loved it and we dipped it in olive oil with cracked pepper. Next time I'll put salt on top to add a little more flavor, but it was already fantastic.

Made this for years. It's an old recipe from Jan Busheme. You can also put it in the crockpot on low to warm. It's good with sour cream on it.

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

This did not turn out. I didn't brown them first and that might have helped. They were dry and had very little flavor. I fried them after I took them out and that didn't help either. I used Cream of Celery soup and 1/2 cup stock. Next time, I would just fry the pork chops instead of wasting time getting them right in the crockpot.
