Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I cut this recipe in half to make one loaf. I creamed the butter and sugar, added eggs separately as suggested and sifted the flour, soda and cinnammon. I mistakenly added two tsps of cinnammon to the one loaf, but it was great. Thanks for an awesome recipe. Next time it will be two loaves.

Banana-Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
I made this as the recipe was except I added more zucchini. I didn't find that the body or flavour was as good as other banana or zucchini breads. Perhaps it was the combination of the two. I will stick to my old faithfuls

My husband loves this dinner. I make it at least twice a month. I added a few of my own spices, but otherwise never changed anything. Thanks for a great recipe.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Very good recipe. I added sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds cranberries and raisins. I have made these a couple of times and always use what I have on hand. I also use Splenda, egg replacement and no salt. They still taste great.

Homemade Shake and Bake Mixture

Absolutely the best. I do not add the salt, as we do not use it anymore. I use more garlic or onion and any other herb or spice that I have. Each time it is different, but always delicious.

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
This salad is wonderful. I have made it numerous times and everyone asks for more. The dressing is so versitile. I did not have all the ingredients to make the salad one day so I impovised and used spring mix greens, goat cheese, mandarins, and of course the carmalized pecans. I used the same dressing, and it was another wonderful salad. The dressing is great. Thanks for a good recipe.

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2005
Pea soup is not one of my favourite soups, but my husband loves it. I made it without tasting it, so was going by the seat of my pants when I served it. It was excellent. I actually had a full bowl.

I have made this dish several times, usually when I need something a little different. It is great with bbq meats and pork and everyone enjoys it.

Pennsylvania Dutch Pickled Beets and Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2005
This recipe is absolutely excellent. None of the spices were too strong and each complemented the other. The colours of the eggs when sliced, added contrast to other appetizers. I will most certainly be making these often.

Great bread. Just finished making a second batch. I added raisins to mine as we love raisins.
