I love trying new recipes. I enjoy cooking everything from breads, main courses, soups, salads and canning. I collect recipe books. If they interest me I collect them, from the common Julia Child to various ethnic regions. Whatever, I am in the mood for or how to use the things that are in season. I love to entertain and the holidays. Making pumpkin soup in October, enough to feed an army. Grilling all year round for family get togethers and of course Christmas. I don't consider this a triumph but it makes my husband proud...I am known as "Martha" by friends. Personally I find the simple fact that I make the best dill pickles, I love them. Any cook worth their salt, have had too many to mention!
