Mom's Buttercream Frosting
I needed to make a frosting for a spice cake in a hurry with the ingredients I had in my house so I came across this. I somehow got lumpy milk/flour, which the recipe said to stir until not lumpy...well I stirred and stirred and still lumps. So I tossed it and tried again. Still lumpy. I proceeded anyway, using powdered sugar instead of granulated sugar (prior experience gave me grainy frosting). Minus the lumps, the frosting wasn't bad. Wasn't great either. But it was simple.

Ultimate Irresistible Granola
So yummy! I changed the recipe: used multi-grain oats, didn't use walnuts (since I didn't have any), didn't use coconut (don't like it), flax instead of wheat germ (once again, its what I had), dried cherries instead of raisins (don't like it) and then I had to bake almost 40 min (I stirred the mix on both pans and switched the pans around every 10 min). I love it. Next time, I'll cut down on the honey-oil mix though as its a little too sticky for me (think I'll try 2 cups total of the mix).

Pork Chop Pileups
Delicious, but I would recommend precooking the potatoes slightly before baking...mine were really thin and small and were not cooked all the way when the meat was done.
