I'm married and have 3 children, 3 "step" children who have blessed us with NINE grands so far... I love to cook from scratch. My favorites change with the seasons, and the list expands as I try new recipes. I've hosted Thanksgiving for our family since I was 17. We have our family reunion at camp each year. Learning to can. Made dandelion jelly this summer, and black raspberry jelly as well. I'd love to start dehydrating and canning more with a pressure cooker - keep more meals on the shelves than in the freezer. Frequent power outages where we live ;-) Peanutbutter cookies. I don't know why. Mine taste like ... dirt, haha. I keep saying I'll try again. Someday. Frying foods as well - it always ends up more soggy for me. I don't care to fry chicken or anything - I leave that to my husband...
