I recently made a lot of changes to embrace a simpler, family based life and couldn't be happier! anything from scratch, spicy rocks and i love to use what i grow in my mini garden (tons of herbs, tomatoes, peppers, spinich and salad greens). Figs rolled in sugar brings back wonderful holiday memories as does fresh pfeffernuesse cookies. hubby and i are foodies and just keep getting better..its really cool getting compliments when we have people over for dinner. getting requests for things i make is the best compliment ever..my zuchinni bread and pfeffernuesse get kudos. palmier cookies that just werent :) i'm sticking to the french bakery down the street for them. hubby can't seem to get chocolate lava cake down...but keeps on trying.
