Apple Turnovers
I substituted fresh pitted cherries for the apples in this recipe. My only comment is to advise people to use parchment paper before putting the turnovers on the baking sheet. I thought mine were well sealed but they leaked all over my baking sheet, creating quite a mess. Next time I will use parchment paper before baking these. They were very good.

Jambalaya
I made this last night and used olive oil in place of the peanut oil. Also, I used boneless chicken thighs in place of boneless chicken breast. Lastly, I added a can of red beans (drained). My significant other thought it was good, but a bit too spicy. Next time, I will use only 1/4 tsp.of the red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce. I will definitely make this again-it goes great with garlicky greens!!

Stuffed Flank Steak
I found that the 2cups of stuffing was too much. However, I added half a small can of chopped mushrooms to the stuffing and put the remaining mushrooms in the sauce. Also, I cooked the flank steak for about 50 minutes-we like it more on the rare side-and it was great! I will definietly make this again.
