Donut Muffins
Really simple and easy. But i have to note that 15 mins @ 375 was way too long. I pulled them out with 4 mins left and they were still overdone. Will try 350 next time. Might cut back the nutmeg to 1/2 tsp. and add a little cinnamon to the batter cause these really didn't need the extra butter and sugar on top! Also we made in a 24 muffin tin and there didn't seem to be enough batter. May fill to 3/4 of the way next time and dust with powdered sugar. One last thing the measurements for the topping are a bit excessive. I'd cut back the amounts by half or even a quarter next time as i have a bowl full of cinnamon sugar left over. Thx for sharing!
