Fish Tacos

Italian Chocolate Cookies

Oh my gosh, I am so excited about this! I had almost this very cookie at a shop in Lugano, Switzerland and in this other little Italian eatery. The only obvious difference was that each cookie was wrapped around a whole toasted hazelnut or almond in the European version. Nonni adores these! Great recipe! Definitely Italiano!

Afghan Tomato Soup (Aush Goshti)

Simple, nice zip to it thanks to the chilli paste(be careful with that by starting out with half the amount and then adjusting it). Wouldn't change a thing. The lemon juice adds a lovely clarity and freshness to the flavors.

Red Beans and Rice with SPAM®

Having lived on Guam for many years I have to give this five stars since Spam recipes take on an all new creativity there. My family uses the spam and rice for a quick and easy fixer that we can also add extra hot sauce or salsa since we love extra heat. We also like to drizzle this with finadene. Thank you CYNDMN28 for this one!

Chocolate Cream Pudding

awesome, simple recipe with a great taste! I used it to make a simple brownie trifle layering the pudding with brownies and cherry pie filling and adding a dollop of whipped cream. Yummers! It is also yummy to eat while still warm!

Pineapple Fudge

I have made this one many times now and do not understand the problems others seem to have had. Perhaps people are adding a can instead of a cup of pineapple?? Sweet-just like fudge is supposed to be! I will continue to make this as our Thanksgiving/Christmas fudge. Love it.

Creamy Sourdough Snack

Simple and yet such a professional taste! Since I do not like ham I left that out and used it as a bread and vegetable dip with great results! It will be a regular as an appetizer for my guests from now on.

I love this stuff and eat bowls and bowls of it in the summer! I added toasted sunflower seeds with the almonds and nearly swooned at the taste! Yummers!

Barbye's Cornbread Dressing

My daughter LOVED this, and she HATES dressing. I changed it by using vegetable broth since we are mainly vegetarians here for the last few months. I also used a sweet cracked wheat bread to add more whole grain. Awesome! It disappeared in a flash.

Caramel Corn III

It is so good I wish I had never made it! Now all the kids expect it for all occasions! My daughter had me bring it to her house, 4 states away, for Thanksgiving so her Marine husband and his friends have something to munch for ball games.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole
