Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch

Perhaps I used too much lemon zest..... the kids asked me to go back to the basic recipe. If I make it again (not for Thanksgiving, though!) I will try more sauce, more cheese, sauting the mushrooms, and reducing the lemon zest.

Spinach Salad with Pepper Jelly Dressing

Wonderful! I substitued sunflower seeds and pecans (another time I used toasted pine nuts) for the walnuts and used a bit of Gorgonzola instead of goat cheese. It was a huge hit. I made the dressing ahead of time and then just warmed a bit before applying to the salad and then topped with the seeds and nuts! Thanks for this recipe! Like another reviewer, I also love Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad. I will alternated these two winners!

Seven-Up™ Cake II

"Wonderful and so easy. It was a big hit at a reunion this weekend. I read the other reviews and chose to mix butter and sugar for about 10 minutes in my mixer. It turned out to be dense, like a pound cake and so delicious!"
