Lemon Icebox Pie III

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
This recipe is fabulous! The pie comes out beautiful and so tasty. I used the zest and juice of 3 lemons and it turned out great. Just enough tartness to offset the sweetness of the cream cheese and condensed milk. A hint? Keep it in the freezer for a while before you eat it, makes it even more refreshing!

Quick Chili II

This chili is wonderful and so easy to make! I substituted the ranch style beans for black beans (it was all I had) and it was amazing! Will make again soon.

Amazingly good and so easy to make! Make sure to keep the pastry crust cold so that it doesn't fall apart!

Snickerdoodles III

Three things I learned making these: 1. Using an electric mixer works really great because this dough comes out quite dense. It is really easy to roll out, but it is hard to stir. 2. These definitely maintain their shape so make sure you press them kind of flat or you will have very fat cookies! 3. The cookie mix comes out much better with a bit of added cinnamon! It just completes the recipe. Overall these cookies were amazing! Don't be worried about the density of the dough, they will bake wonderfully when pressed flat and they taste scrumptious!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
These cookies are amazingly delicious and do stay soft for literally weeks! My only suggestion is that if you are not a huge ginger fan cut down the amount you add. These are GINGER cookies and are very strong. I usually cut down on the ginger and add a little more cinnamon. Also, if you can use real butter, margarine works too but the cookies will be a little flatter and a lot greasier. No matter what though, these are amazing cookies!

These cookies are amazing and they really do stay soft for a long amount of time! I have made them two years in a row for Christmas and my family loves them. Don't skimp on the sugar and cinnamon topping...it makes the cookie! :)

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This recipe is amazingly easy and delicious! I too suggest replacing the water with chicken broth. It gives the sauce a great texture and taste. Also, adding the mixed vegetables gives this recipe an added flavor. In general I just loved this recipe.

It took a really long time to set and even after I left it in the fridge for a whole day and night it still wasn't hard enough to cut.

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are absolutely exquisite! The oats really give them a nice flavor and texture...yum! I made two batches, one without the grated chocolate and one with, they are both great! So if you really love chocolate add the grated, if not, they still come out great!

Quick Chicken Divan

This was a great recipe, my family loved it! I substituted sour cream for the mayonnaise though, like someone else suggested. It made it taste a lot better, more light. Loved it!
