My brother asked me for an easy broccoli cheese soup recipe that he could surprise his new wife with. I didn't have one but looked and found this one...which was a major hit! His wife was not only surprised at the fact that my brother had made soup from scratch, but was blown away at how good it was. My brother said this was incredibly easy to make even for a novice cook like himself.

SOOO good!!! Rave reviews every single time I make it. I cut back on the sugar for the batter and cut back on the butter for the topping, but other than that, I don't change a thing. This is a definate winner! Such an impressive presentation.
