About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Anything with Pasta in it. Stuffed Shells have always been a favorite for me. My mom made them for me when I was young and we have always shared a special love for them.
My cooking tragedies
Funny thing is, despite watching my mom cook meals for all the years I spent at home...she never truly "taught" me to cook. I learned to cook when I was 19 and living on my own. I became really interested in trying recipes and discovering new foods....my boyfriend's mom was very patient with me and let me use and abuse her kitchen on the weekends when we would visit them while in college. I burned up a lot of pots, pans and cookie sheets, but I'm a great cook now because of it....oh and he's my husband now, so he benefitted too.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I
I didn't have white vinegar, so I used red wine vinegar and cut down on the sugar & water. It worked out perfectly and was so tasty!

Best Beef Stroganoff
This was awesome. Left out the mushrooms just cause not really a fan, but followed everything else as directed. the carmelized onions make it so yummy.

Spinach Enchiladas
This was perfect. Very good when served with Salsa Verde. Read about 5 of most recent reviews and looked like a decent recipe, so I tried it to exactly as it said. Served over rice that I made with butter, green peppers, garlic (yes just a little) then rotel and it was sooooo good. Even better for lunch two days later.
