I lost this recipe and I'm so happy I found it on this site! I have made this for years. My mother always substituted almond flavoring for the vanilla which makes a wonderful cookie. I think we may have cooked it at 350, I'll try that next time as I think 375 is a little too hot. Thank you for the recipe. It's like connecting with an old friend!

These were a true surprise, they were great! Usually I find that lentils overpower most recipes, but here they are wonderful. These are best immediately after cooking, but I also liked crumbling a patty over a salad. Next time I will leave the mixture uncooked and just cook as many as I need each time; I'll have to see how the mix holds up in the refrigerator. I recommend this recipe, it's a tasty winner!

I think this would have been great if I just melted the first ingredients and then melted the sugar for the minimal amount of time. I followed the times exactly, cooking it on medium low and it turned into brittle, hard candy. It softened in the microwave, but as soon as it hit the cold ice cream, it again turned hard as a rock. It is also not as fudgy as I like on ice cream. It is easy to make but don't do more than melt the ingredients together. If you like fudgy toppings, this is not the one for you.

These are great and very easy. I couldn't see where the recipe said to add the flour, so I added it when I added the baking soda. I have used another recipe for years, but it always had a raw bean flavor which this recipe doesn't have. I baked these instead of frying. I dropped them from a rounded teaspoon onto a parchment lined baking pan, covered with foil and baked for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. I then uncovered and turned them, and returned them to the oven uncovered for another 15 minutes. Very tasty wrapped in an untraditional tortilla with sprouts and tomatoes and cucumbers and a vegan thousand island too!

This was excellent! I doubled the recipe, but used about three pounds of meat. I used frozen corn (didn't cook or defrost) and whole olives. For the taco seasoning I used a double recipe off this site. I cut the milk down to 1 cup per recipe. I work, so after spraying "Pam" in the casserole, I put it on low for the 9 hours I was at work. I added the cheese when I got home and headed off to a pot-luck. Everyone raved about it! The consistency was perfect, no dry crust in the pan. It was moist just like a home made tamale. Wow, this is easy, mouthwatering flavor, and the meat was fall apart tender! I used apple cider vinegar as it has a great flavor. This is a keeper, thanks!

This is very good. The first time I made it the bottom cooked too much and couldn't be eaten. I lowered the temperature to 350 the first hour and 375 the second. I think 375 for both hours would be fine. It has very good flavor. It makes extra dressing which I circle around the "bird" and it makes a good presentation. Be sure to cover the "bird" with foil for the second hour too. It has great taste and isn't hard to put together. Add a little cranberry sauce and veges and you're set. Thanks!

Delicious!!! Be sure to add enough bread crumbs to make a "burger" consistency. I fried them as burgers, put 1000 island, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers on a hamburger bun, and had a feast! Wonderful, thanks.

I'm still looking for a GOOD vegan onion soup. This was not it. As others said, WAY too many onions, and I love onions. I couldn't get the garlic to brown, despite cooking twice as long as required. I might cook the garlic separately if I made it again, but I didn't think the taste was good enough to bother, sorry.

WOW!!! This was great and so easy to prepare. I included a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil for a little more Asian flavor and doubled the fresh ginger, as I can never get enough. An instant favorite!!!! Thanks!

My son-in-law bought a prime rib for Christmas and I used this recipe. As many of the reviewers had used Montreal Seasoning, I bought some and mixed that in too. I made sure to have the roast at room temperature prior to cooking and to use a covered pan while cooking it. It came out perfect and everyone loved it. The smells coming out of the kitchen while it was cooking was enough to make everyone starving. Very easy and very good. Thanks.

This is a wonderful blend of spices. As others have mentioned, brushing on the oil works well. Just sprinkle on enough spices to lightly coat the potato. If you use the regular ten pound bagged potatoes instead of the big baking potatoes you may put on too much spice. That's what happened to me. Next time I'll know to use less spices sprinkled on top and to only cut the potatoes in half. It is a good recipe and great flavor.

Wow, these are great and pretty simple to make. Don't make the mistake I made of using greased mini-muffin pans. The chocolate remains in the pans even after dipping in hot water. They are every bit as good or better than the commercial candy. A definite repeat!

This soup was good, but be prepared for a very spicy soup. The cumin and chili give it a very strong flavor. I would cut way back on the seasonings next time or change them to oregano and basil for a more italian flair.

This is more like fudge than a cookie, but VERY GOOD. The oatmeal gives it a chewy texture. I cut the maple syrup in half (1/3 Cup maple syrup and 1/3 Cup water) as I don't like much sugar. I also used Carob powder instead of cocoa. They are easy and a nice treat.

I love tofu, teriyaki sauce and pineapple, but this recipe didn't work. I used less sauce and diluted it with pineapple juice, but the teriyaki was overpowering and didn't soak into the tofu. I won't be making this one again.
