Caramel Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
I agree with some of the other reviews. The middle was extremely mushy and egg-y, to the point I thought I did something wrong. I did not use whole milk, but the recipe does not specify. I chopped it up and put it back in the oven. I'm waiting for it now, so we'll see if that helps at all, but will not make it again.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
While the rootbeer was a decent liquid for cooking it, it did not seem to add any flavor to the pork. I used country style ribs and they did come out tender. However, if I didn't use a family favorite bbq sauce, the pork would have been bland and boring.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
Was a good recipe, but even after marinating overnight, not enough flavor for us. Made it Asian style by cooking it in a wok, then added broccoli and peppers and served with rice. Next time will keep a lot more sauce aside to top at the end. With the extra sauce, it will probably be a 4 star recipe!

Delicious and something different! I used walnuts instead of pecans because that is what I had on hand and love them! Will be making them again this weekend, maybe with a dash more cinnamon & ginger.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a simple and delicious recipe!! I actually boiled skinless, boneless chicken breasts because I don't like the canned version and it was fantastic!! I really like that it's specifically for the crockpot. I put it on around noon and kept it on all day and kept going back for more and more and more!! I served it with scoop tortilla chips, the perfect little bowl to scoop it up with!

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This recipe needed some tweaking, but was overall good - I especially enjoyed the leftovers! I did add an extra can of soup because it was dry when I was mixing it. Also, I thought the sourcream should have been in the casserole, not the crackers, but I did make it the way the recipe said and it just seemed to get really rich on you after a few bites. If I make this recipe again, I will eliminate the topping altogether, or just sprinkle some seasoned breadcrumbs on top. Not bad for a hearty meal and plenty of leftovers!

Good, but very rich. I must say they do become addictive tho!

Prosciutto Parmesan Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
The overall taste of the recipe was pretty good. I did substitute frozen peas for the canned; however, my sauce came out very thin, not like a typical alfredo sauce, despite my continuing to add more cheese. I would have liked it to have been a little thicker to really stick to the pasta. Good for a try, but not likely I would make it again.

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2007
I marinated the chicken for about 4 hours and really didn't feel the flavor came through when I grilled it. Didn't really taste much more than the soy sauce. I also forgot to 'dab' the excess marinade off so the first side came out really dark and carmelized. Probably wouldn't make it again.
