My name is Mary Cadwell, I am 23 years of age and I love to cook and bake. I took 4 different cooking courses in high school and my mother taught me a lot of what I know. Everything except finger Jell-o. I'm not sure if this is a cooking tradition or not, but I think it's really cool that everyone in my family started cooking at a very young age. Like 5 and 7 years old. That saying a lot to since I 3 sisters and 5 brothers. When I was living at home I used make dinner a lot. My family would go outside and I would have the whole kitchen to myself. Well one evening I made Goulash and a salad w/ veggies fresh the garden and mint brownies. My whole family I thought I had done a great job with dinner. One time when I was living at home with my mom I was making finger Jell-o, I had the jell-o in the pan and ready to go in the refrigerator. The only problem was I couldn't get to the refrigerator, I kept spilling it and before long our white kitchen counters were pink. I even had jell-o on the walls half way across the room. That still gives me bad dreams.
