About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I feel much safer baking, the directions are clear and exact, that I can do without messing it up. I like to say that my husband is the chef, which he is, and I'm the baker.
My cooking triumphs
I found out this spring that I could make bisquits!!! And that they were good. I started making every recipe that I could find trying different variations. They freeze well and are an easy addition to dinner.
My cooking tragedies
I should ask my sister to write this....When I was 12 or so we needed an afternoon snack. With not a lot to choose from I made a mix of zuchinni, and god know what ever else I could find. We ate it because we were so hungry and boy did we regret it. It made us both sick and it took years before I could even hear the ingredients without being sick to my stomach.

Pork Roast with Thyme
This is an easy way to make tasty roast. Nice and moist with a lot of flavor. AAA+++

Vanilla Crepes
I was brought up eating crepes and this is a great recipe. It makes a nice thin batter that is easy to spread in the pan, and has a light vanilla flavor making them great plain as well as with berries and brown sugar. I will use this recipe again. :) Soon!

Meatball Sandwich
These meatballs were easy and tasty. I used ground turkey instead of beef and they were moist and flavorful. I will make again.
