Yogurt Chicken

This is a really great, quick recipe! The chicken comes out so moist. I have used balsamic vinegar for the lemon juice when I was out of lemons. It turned out just as well. Thanks for sharing!

Sweet Potato Pecan Waffles

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
Thanks for this great recipe! I made these to freeze for my 2 year old son & I so we would have waffles ready to go in the mornings for breakfast. I choose this recipe because i like to sneak in extra vegetables where ever I can! I used sweet potato puree that I made myself and I used 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1/2 all purpose flour. I also used 1/2 nutmeg and 1/2 cinnamon because nutmeg can be overpowering to me. These were really good. I gave them 4 stars because I thought they could have had a touch more sweet potato flavor but all in all, terrific! I will make them again!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Really great! Exactly what I was looking for. I only had butter (no margarine) so I baked them about 10 minutes. They are nice and soft. I also added about 1/2 C raisins. Nuts would also be great. Thanks!

Caramel Apple Bars II

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
These turned out really good and I will make them again! I made a few changes. I took the previous posters advice and put 2/3 of the crust in the bottom of the pan and usd the remaining 1/3 on top instead of doing 1/2 and 1/2. That way, the bottom crust is sturdier and you can see the apples better which is more appealing to the eye. I only had one cup of caramel sauce so I just adjusted the amount of flour and it seemed to be plenty. I incread the apples to about 3 and 1/2 cups but I would still like more. I felt that the apple flavor got a little lost. I will try 4 and 1/2 Cups next time. Also, I used 2 Gala and one red delicious apple because that is what I had on hand, next time I will use Granny Smith for a tarter bite. All in all, very good recipe. Thanks for sharing!
