Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2005
These are as easy and as good as all the other reviews have mentioned. This is my first year baking loads of X-mas cookie and this recipe was a hit. I actually took the basic ingrediants (Butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda) and changed some of the other ingrediants to make some amazing alternatives...such as: Extra vanilla extract, vanilla soy protein instead of cocoa powder, vanilla chips, peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips. OR I used peppermint extract with cocoa powder, extra butter, peppermint chips, chocolate chips, pieces of candy canes & peppermint bark. Or Almond extract with vanilla soy protein, almond butter, dried cherries, almonds, and vanilla chips. All variations I tried turned out great...I am NOT a baker and making alternatives was fun and easy...I can't way to try nutella or other butters like pumpkin or apple...I bet the possiblities are endless...

Acorn Magic Delights

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
I'm trying to make these cookies right now and with the measurements listed I can't get the dough to be dough. It's dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried it twice and I have had to toss the cookie out. If you have any suggestions please let me know. This is the first year I'm trying to do Christmas baking and I can't afford to throw away ingredients.
