About this Cook
I am a university student in Washington, DC originally from Princeton, NJ.
My favorite things to cook
Any baked goods and East-Asian dishes.
My cooking triumphs
With a friend, cooked a DE-lish 30 pound turkey in the unpredictable dorm kitchen oven during mid-terms and scored an 'A' in World Politics the next morning.
My cooking tragedies
I spent an entire day trying to replicate the pork dumplings my boyfriend's mother taught me to make and failed miserably. I don't know what happened, but the filling was disgusting and completely inedible. The dumplings themselves simply fell apart. I was supposed to bring them to be eaten at my best friend's graduation party, but I stopped off at the local grocer on the way over and contributed some store-bought choc chip cookies instead.

Milky Tea
Sooo yummy! Sometimes I like to brew a black tea teabag with it, but it is still divine as is!

Linguine with White Clam Sauce I
I thought this lacked a lot of flavor. I had to add more salt and pepper just so I could taste SOMETHING besides cream and pasta.

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies
Exactly what i was looking for. As a college student without much in the pantry, these were sooo easy and a great, guilt-free snack while working on finals. I shared them with people on my floor and everybody raved about them. Nobody could tell that they didn't have butter, oil or egg. Also, I chopped up some apple and threw that in as well to give it more apple flavor...I did this also because i only had 1/2 a cup of applesauce, but i think it really added!
