I adjusted the recipe for 18 servings, doubled the amount of coffee (and brewed it double strength), and instead of rum, I used the same amount of water and 1/4 tsp. imitation rum extract. I made this in a 10" x 13" baking dish. Also, this was prepared a day ahead of time using the hard biscuit type ladyfingers. They were nice and cake-like when I served it. My sister-in-law from Italy and my brother loved it. They thought it was some of the best they had ever had! I will likely make this again.
