Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
This was great! (And truly quick and easy). I was worried about the amount of sugar in it, but it wasn't too sweet at all. I made two changes: I diced my chicken breasts into large chunks before cooking, and I added only 1/2 the amount of black pepper it called for. We'll definitely make this again and again!

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
I made this recipe exactly as written, and it was great! Even my husband (who doesn't like sweet potatoes) said it was excellent. The only change I made was to make it in a 9X9 pan. With the amount of sweet potatoes in the recipe, it seemed to me like it would have been spread too thin if I'd put it in a 13X9 pan. I baked it for an extra 15 minutes, just to make sure the center was done. Thank you for a great recipe that I'll be making every Thanksgiving (and probably throughout the year, lol) from now on!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
This pie is insanely good! I'm not one for changing recipes that are already perfect, but I did add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon just because apple pie without cinnamon seems sort of wrong. lol Thanks for a great recipe!

Le Marriage, Alfredo Algerie

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
I've made this twice now, and oh wow...YUM! The first time I made it, I was out of saffron, and last night, I was out of Parmesan, lol. It was still out of this world though. Like another poster mentioned--I didn't use quite as much butter, and I also added a third chicken breast half for more substance. Definitely a keeper, although probably only make it once or twice per year. Thanks!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
This was excellent! The only thing I did differently was that I used shells instead of ziti (didn't have any ziti on hand!) and I added two cloves of minced garlic to the sauce. I don't know what the people who said this was bland were talking about--this was great! Definitely going in my recipe box!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This is FANTASTIC! The only thing it needed was a pinch of salt, but then again, I'm a saltaholic anyway. :) Perfect as is--I didn't substitute anything. Even my 3 year old ate it. Thanks for a great recipe. (It's really easy, too!)

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
This sauce is great! I made two changes--I used fresh, minced garlic instead of the powder, and I also took the advice of another poster and added a little sugar because tomato paste is so bitter. This really is a delicious recipe, and very quick!

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
The flavor of this recipe was very interesting (but in a good way!) because of all the different herbs/spices. However, it was a tad bit salty, and I even cut the amount of salt in half. This could be user error though. After finishing dinner, I noticed that my lemon pepper seasoning contained salt, as well. Next time (and this is definitely a keeper!) I'll omit the salt that the recipe calls for completely. VERY good recipe!
