Hot and Sour Chicken Soup

Very tasty! I have a similar recipe for egg drop soup that I've used for years. This is more substantial with the chicken and vegetables. It had a wonderful smooth, creamy texture that we loved.

Hasselback Potatoes

These were unique, good tasting potatoes. I left my potatoes unpeeled to keep the vitamins, and they were still good. Very impressive look.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Really good - even my 2 kids ate it up. Next time I would substitute petite diced tomatoes for the stewed tomatoes as the stewed tomatoes were too big to incorporate easily into the sauce. The chicken was incredibly tender and moist. A hit!

Twenty Minute Chicken

This was very good and simple to prepare. I pounded the chicken breasts before cooking them and they were very tender. I also prepared the entire dish in one skillet. I just covered the skillet for the last 5 minutes with the chicken, onions, mushrooms and cheese. It worked perfectly, made little mess and was liked by all!

White Chicken Enchilada Slow-Cooker Casserole

This wasn't our favorite. I used the Chile Verde Soup in place of cream of chicken, but otherwise followed the recipe. I added diced green chiles too and I thought it still needed more flavor. he tortillas on the bottom layer were dried out and nearly burnt, even though I only cooked it 4 hours on low.

Veggie Delight on Garlic Bread

This was good, but we didn't think it was great. I followed the recipe, with the only changes being to add fresh mozzarella after cooking the vegetables, and to add some roasted red peppers to the veggie mix.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very good cookie. I made it exactly as the recipe stated, except to flatten slightly, as previous reviewers suggested. I forgot to do my second batch and the flattened ones were a much prettier golden color, and more evenly cooked too. I used a Pampered Chef cookie dough scoop, as 1/4 cup seemed too big for me. I got 3 1/2 dozen good sized cookies out of it

Pepperoni Bread

This was FABULOUS! I expected an ordinary pizza, just rolled up, but something about it was unique. I added a few black olives before I rolled it up, and also served some spaghetti sauce on the side for dipping, though it was good with or without it. This will definitely become a regular at our house! Thanks so much!

This was very good and easy to make. I used reduced fat neufchatel cream cheese, and skim milk, hopefully making it a little more healthy. I didn't use it all, and have refrigerated it. It is not separating, as I was afraid it might.

Burrito Pie

Very good. Alterations I made included reducing ground beef to 1 pound, using only 1 can of refried beans, and substituting a can of diced tomatoes for the ro-tel style tomatoes. It was perfectly spiced to my taste, and popular with the family.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

This is delicious. I love the thick, smooth texture of the soup. I did cut the barley back to about 3/4 c and would maybe use about 1/4 t pepper as I felt it was a little overpowering. All in all a delicious recipe!
