This was very easy and quick to put together. I didn't have time, so I marinated this only a half hour at room temperature, but it was still delicious. I just drizzled the fish with sesame oil, but did not use the 1/4 cup called for. I also added toasted sesame seeds at the end. We all enjoyed this dish. Thanks so much!

Baked Spaghetti I

This earned rave reviews from all. I left out the ground beef and the peppers, per our tastes, and also added a larger can of mushrooms. It was delicious and went together easily. I'll definitely be making this one again!

Quick and Easy Vegetable Soup

This was very good - just the right amount of spiciness. I used cajun seasoning instead of creole, since that is what I had. I also used frozen green beans, and threw in a little frozen ocra. It's a very flexible recipe. Used vegetable broth to make it vegetarian.

Greek Chicken Pasta

I thought this was OK, but I don't think I'd make it again. The tomato and chicken mixture didn't coat the pasta the way I'd like it to.

Tropical Steak Sandwich

This was pretty good, but my husband doesn't go for sweet flavors when they are warm, so it wasn't his favorite. I thought the sauce was especially good. I used flank steak in place of the filet mignon.

Ye Ole Gingerbread

This is a delicious gingerbread. I happened to have some golden syrup I brought back from Australia, so I was fortunate enough to be able to follow the recipe exactly. It was just right, and stayed nice and moist for several days. Delicious with butter!

Crab Quiche I

This was pretty good - nice and creamy. I made following the recipe except omitting the green onions. It was a little floury. Don't know if that comes from an inferior pie crust or the flour in the quiche. It was a very good quiche, in any case.

Elaine's Peanut Butter Cookies

This is perfect for me. The cookie was a little pale looking, but the flavor was great, and the ease in making the cookie just can't be beat.

Linguine with Portobello Mushrooms

The sauce for this recipe was delicious! I doubled it, but still, the pasta was a little bit dry, as the sauce didn't go far enough. Next time I might try serving it over orzo, or some smaller pasta.

I thought this was a great recipe. I might add some more garlic next time as I like things very garlic-y. I doubled the recipe, and that worked fine.

Sesame Noodles

This recipe was OK, but I expected more flavor. The kids did love it, however. My 9 year old daughter and all her friends dug right in! I took it to a swim meet. It was great because it was chilled and ready to go on a hot night!

Coconut Tofu Keema

This was very good. I used Thai Garlic Chili paste in place of the Red Pepper paste, and I used only about 1 t instead of 1 T because I was afraid it would be too spicy for the kids. Next time, I'll try 1 T as it wasn't spicy enough.

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

These were so yummy! I did find that I had to cut the time I baked them down to about 23 minutes. Also, using foil muffin liners made them come out easily. Otherwise, the paper pulled off half the brownie. I froze the peanut butter cups before putting them in the batter. I'll be making these again soon!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Yum! These were very good. The topping was a little crumbly, but I thought the flavors were delicious! I made it exactly as the recipe stated, and they were a big hit. I'll definitely make them again as they are yummy and easy too!
