Soba with Toasted Sesame Seed Sauce

This was very good. I added extra noodles, when 8 ounces looked like a very meager amount. I also added chicken and thinly sliced cucumbers. It was similar to noodle bowls we ate when we were living in Australia. I might opt to add some sliced cabbage in place of the broccoli (which I did steam lightly) next time. Definitely one to work with.

Flank Steak a la Willyboy

I made this for Christmas dinner, and was very pleased with the results. I crushed the rosemary very well, and otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It has a wonderful, mildly sweet flavor that I thought was perfect. I'll definitely make this again! Thanks so much for the recipe.

Beaufort Stew

This was a good recipe, but I should have read the other reviews and added the corn at the end. The corn in mine was overdone. Other than that it was very good. I put about 2 T Old Bay seasoning in - not the 3 oz that the recipe called for. That seemed like too much to me. I might add 3 T next time, but it was still good. Super easy!

Garlic and Artichoke Pizza

We thought this was good, but seemed to be lacking something. Maybe adding chicken, as one reviewer suggested, would help. We use our own pizza crust recipe, so we altered it a little according to how we always cook pizza. I put the sauce, tomatoes and artichokes first. We cook it for about 15 minutes then add the cheese and cook for about 10 more minutes. This keeps the cheese from burning. Next time I wouldn't bother with cooking the artichoke liquid with the garlic. I used pre-chopped garlic and would just add both of them to the pizza. I didn't see much value in cooking the garlic in the artichoke liquid.

I was hoping for something unique with this, but was disappointed with the results. Mine turned out like a dry, hotdog shaped meatloaf. It didn't have the Mediteranian flavor I was looking for. I stuck with the original recipe, except to add paprika, as one reviewer suggested. I also broiled it in the oven rather than cooking it on the grill.

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

These were delicious and went together easily. They are especially fast if the pico de gallo is made ahead. Then they're a snap! I was afraid they might be too spicy, so I used only 1/2 jalapeno. I'd use more next time as they were very mild. Fabulous recipe!

Slow Cooker Wild Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

I used milk in place of cream, thickening it with cornstarch, but I wasn't happy with the results. It was too watery. Next time I will try it using cream. It had a great flavor and was very easy.

Delicious Artichoke Dip

Cinnamon Bread I

This was a delicious quick bread. My husband came back for fourths! My 7 year old daughter and I prepared it together. She wanted to add nuts so we threw in about 1/4 cup chopped pecans. It was perfect!

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Fabulous flavor and easy to throw together in a hurry. I've made this twice now and will definitely use it many more times. I substituted ketchup for the tomato paste as a previous viewer suggested.
