This is my favorite "base" recipe for pumpkin bread...and I don't change a thing when I'm not worrying so much about sugar/white flour and I want reliable rave reviews. My kids LOVE these all the time (even when I sometimes fiddle, using less sugar or subbing in some whole wheat flour)! When I'm REALLY naughty, I put in as much chocolate chips as I think the batter can hold! YUM

I love this cookie!! My husband and kids love this cookie. I make batches (some as is, some w/ choc chips), drop spoonfuls on cookies sheets and freeze the dough balls for later. My kids adore coming home from school and having just a plate of warm oatmeal pb cookies waiting for them.

This is a fun and delicious recipe to serve, and appealing even to guests who are a bit reserved about drinking alcohol. In fact, I have to be careful not to serve this unattended around children, since they drool over the pink-orange slushy mix! Always a hit.
