I work so I pretty much that is it. When I head home it is to cook for myself and my husband along with my mom. Thus I just love "one pot/pan" meals. If it can be done in my grandmothers cast iron pan and put in the oven all the better. Let us not forget the crock pot. My "red gravy" however this is a weekend do and an all day affair because of the time it takes to can it. Mac & Cheese because I just so love it. Plain ole pasta w/garlic & oil. Roast Pork stuffed. Come to think of it if I like to eat it I enjoy putting it together. Making Pie. When I was a kid I would help my grandmother and now I get to help my husband who is the baker in the house. Makes a wonderful Apple Pie and great Irish bread. I think my favorite thing is to bake stuff together. The first time I made a lasagna from scratch from the noodles right on up. Oh, and the first time I actually was able to make a good meatloaf and then there was the mac & cheese. The first time I did Mac and cheese, oh bad! Was like eating sawdust. Now everyone loves it.
