Polynesian Ribs

Jansson's Temptation (Janssons Frestelse)

I live in Sweden and this recipie is exactly like the one I use to make Jansson's Delight,, it is wonderful! The only difference is that I add the anchovies (packed in water from a tin) in layers, rather than at the bottom. I prefer your method better than mine.

Red Currant Pie

This gets a BEST rating as it is the ONLY useful recipie for red currants that I have ever seen, other than red currant jelly. We have FIVE bushes of red currants and I needed a recipie or two!

Never Fail Pie Crust I

I tried this and it worked,, so what you say? Well I have tried to make piecrust for 45 years and this is the first one that ever turned out. Great for beginners, this recipie will give them confidence!

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

This recipie was a Godsend! I live in Sweden where they dont have canned pumpkin or evaporated milk... and this recipie does not call for either! You start with fresh pumpkins which are available and I can grow them too! Plus it was delicous,,, what more can you ask??

Peach Kuchen

I have made this recipie about 10 times and everyone loves it, plus it looks pretty and is super easy. Sometimes I use apricots instead of peaches. It is fast, easy, foolproof and reliable. What more can you ask?

Unbelievable Popovers

This was a great recipie. I did not have a popover pan so just used a muffin tin.. it worked great. I did preheat the pan, as that is what mamma used to do when she made popovers. They turned out great so I took a photo of them. Everyone liked them too.

Mushroom Turnovers

I have never made pastry successfully before trying this recipie. They turned out beautifully! The recipie did yield 22 instead of 10, but they all disappeared fast. I added cooked crumbled bacon to the filling and more salt, but the rest was the same. I even took a photo of them, my first success with pastry!

Baked Whole Pumpkin
