Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I really liked these, followed the recipe exactly. I was somewhat skeptic about the addition of pudding I think I'll be making all my choc chip cookies with it now. My husband tried them and said "they taste good but they're nothing amazing" but he missed the point- it's more about the texture than it is the flavor. After explaining that he agreed that using pudding is the way to go.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Hands down THE best mashed potatoes I have ever had, I printed this out ove a year ago and now I feel like a complete idiot for not making them sooner. I followed the recipe to a T but for 3lbs of potatoes and it was perfect, just enough butter (and I always add butter to potatoes) and garlic, we're huge garlic lovers. These would be such an easy to make dish for any holida, a guarenteed crowd pleaser.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

AMAZING! I made it exactly as the recipe calls for, no changes and they came out perfect, my husband declared them "the best cookie bars I've ever had". I was skeptic about the amount of the jam but it turned out perfect. Simple ingredients, quick & easy to put together, wonderful for company.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Because of this recipe my first time making zucchini bread is a huge success! I had no idea what to expect but this was very easy and after reading a lot of reviews I decided to do 1/2 of the sugar as brown and I was going to do 1/2 oil for applesauce but forgot, whoops, it is still perfect though. My husband doesn't like nuts so we left those out. Thank you for submitting this, it will be made again and again in our house.

Broccoli Potato Bake

I've made this 2 ways- the way the recipe calls for (3 star rating) and then I've also made it with the following changes: Cheddar cheese for swiss, add garlic & onion, use simply potatoes instead of frozen. With the additions I think it's a 4 star dish. Nice texture, creamy, a good way to add broccoli to a casserole that isn't just plain "broccoli casserole".

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

As written I have to give this 3 stars, I love salt and this was too much for me. Maybe the heads I used were too small but next time I'm just going to eyeball it and use 1/2 the amount. All of the other flavors were there in the right amount. We sprinkled them with grated parm-romano, definitely better with the cheese.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

My husband and I love this dish. As it's written I give it 4 stars but substituting canned mushrooms for fresh and adding garlic powder makes it 5. I've also added fresh minced garlic and onion and it's fab that way as well.

Angel Lush

Not a winner for us at all. I put sliced strawberries between the layers and frosted the outside with extra cool whip/pineapple mixture. I was really looking forward to this one but our company agreed that that it just tasted like a large cool whip cake with a hint of pineapple, too bad because I was really looking forward to this.

Heavenly Halibut

Fabulous is the only way to describe this dish. I am not a hot sauce person so I omitted it but followed the rest of the recipe exactly, this is my new favorite way to cook halibut, try it & you won't be disappointed.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Not a winner for me, my husband thought it was "pretty good". I'm more of a fan of lemon type sauces on fish so I knew this was going to be a change for me going into it. I thought the soy was a little overpowering, if we made it again I may try to reduce the soy amount and increase the honey.

Stuffed Shells III

Excellent stuffed shells recipe. We use our own sauce and I am yet to try it with the mushrooms, other than that followed the directions to a T and they've come out perfect everytime. We love having this for dinner with a nice salad.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Best loaded potatoes ever. As other reviews have said if the potato is completely cool you'll have a much easier time scooping out the flesh. One time I was lazy and instead of scooping out the flesh, putting it back in the potato, etc. I just turned it into loaded mashed potatoes, excellent that way as well. This is a great dish to make the day before and then refrigerate after you put the loaded mixture back in the shells and pop back in the oven the next day for reheating.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

This soup is absolutely fabulous. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because as a garlic lover I think it needs some. The first 5 or so times I've made it I've used fresh tomatoes but the last few times I've used large cans of petite diced, I can't tell a difference in taste and it really cuts down on the prep time so I think I'll stick with it.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

One of our favorite pasta dishes ever. I make it with just the chicken and the pasta, no artichokes, mushrooms or capers and it is perfect every single time. The only thing I add is some garlic powder to the coating for the chicken, I've made it with and without the powder and my husband and I definitely prefer it with. This is a go to dish to impress company with, thank you!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

I'm not a huge sweets person or even a baker, this was my first attempt at making cookies from scratch that weren't chocolate chip and I am absolutely in love with this recipe. I didn't have shortening so I used all butter, they were fantastic, I will be making again and again. Thank you.

Anniversary Chicken I

My husband often referrs to it as "loaded chicken" because the topping is similar to a loaded baked potato. Like other reviews suggest I mix the ranch and teryaki together before putting it on the chicken and add the cheese the last 5 minutes of the cooking time.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

This is a staple in our house, for the past few years I've made it at least 1x a month. I normally put the butter and garlic in my small cast iron pot in the oven while it's preheating and it combines the flavors nicely while I prepare everything else. I like a really crunchy crust so I mix in crushed garlic cheddar croutons for 1/2 of the amount of bread crumbs. Thank you for posting it!
