I followed the recipe exactly. The only thing I done different was I lined my pan with non-stick foil and then poured the batter in and baked. Once done and cool to the touch, I took a sharp knife and sliced down the edges to loosen from the pan. Then my husband and I each grabbed one end of the foil gently lifting up and out of the pan. With the them now laying on the counter and still on the foil, I iced and used a pizza cuter (the wheel kind) and sliced right through with ease. Making great sized bars. I then let the icing set a bit and used a small brownie spatula to lift them up off the non-stick foil with ease and placed in a sealed container. It worked with ease! oh yeah, for such a simple recipe, these are always a hit with family and friends.

Yummy!! Dinner was just about done when I realized we didn't have any salad dressing...I found this recipe and tried it because I had all the ingredients. The only thing I didn't have was time...time to deal with the onion and garlic. I had some garlic powder and onion powder in the spice rack. I had no idea how much to use to make it equivalent, so I just added one teaspoon of each, since thats the amount used for the salt and paprika. Don't know if it's right or not, but hey it worked, cause it tastes wonderful!! Thanks Jim, now I've got the best french dressing in an old salsa jar...lol

You have just found THE BEST Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe...don't look any further! Whenever I make these cookies I divide the dough in half and make half with raisins and the other half without. My husband and oldest son like raisins and myself and two youngest sons do not. And yes, even without the raisins this recipe still rocks!!

This is a wonderful recipe. My Aunt always made a Hummingbird Cake that was delicious and I'm glad I have found an almost exact replica of hers. Thank You so much for the recipe!!

I love Chocolate Covered Strawberries and these are so easy to make it's unreal. I also used the microwave to melt the chocolates like another review had mentioned and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the oh so easy recipe!!

Made these for my mom's birthday, since carrot cake is her favorite. I did not try the cupcakes, since carrot cake is not my favorite. However, my Mom, Dad, Husband and oldest son thought they were delicious. I also used the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe found on this site. Thanks for a good Carrot Cake recipe. I can now make my Mom's birthday a little more special by making her a homemade carrot cake instead of a boxed one.

I made this the other night, not sure how my husband and three sons would respond to it. My husband loves eclairs, but I wasn't sure how this dessert would rate... and boy did they love it! For my husband and all three sons to love something equally, wow, I just had to give it 5 stars.

Awesomely Good!! My husband LOVED this – said it reminded him of something you could get at a sporting event or the state fair…and he isn’t big on sauerkraut. We had it on hot dog sized smoked sausage links...and wow, was it yummy!!
