Blueberry Sauce
I found the almond extract very overpowering in this recipe so I would half it next time. Also it was very sweet so I would at least half the sugar as well. I guess it all depends on how sweet your blueberries are. It was very easy to make, however.

Shortbread
Found the dough extremely dry and crumbly and the cookies when made even more so (very dry .. you needed something to drink to eat them!). I'll have to try to add significantly more butter next time.

Amazingly Good Eggnog
This recipe turned out amazing. We drank some the first night we made it but in the morning after it sat is was even more amazing! We did make some changes as suggested by others as follows for the 12 serving recipe: We used 8 egg yolks instead of 12, we used 2 large cinnamon sticks instead of ground and didn't discard them until we put the entire batch into the fridge overnight, we used used 1 tsp rum extract (probably will try 2 tsp next time. My husband just added rum to his individual cup and that was good too. We cut down the sugar to about 1 1/4 cups. We didn't use a double-boiler as some did as we have a high-quality non-stick pot which did not burn or scald the milk. We are going to make a double batch for Christmas.
