My name is Ginger,I'm a mother of three wonderful kids. I've been married for 11 years to my husband Kent. I enjoy collecting recipe books, reading, scrapbooking, fishing, gardening and of course cooking.
I love cooking new recipes and trying new twist on comfort foods.
All recipes is my favorite website. You can find anything on this site and it's very helpful.
My favorite things to cook
I like cooking just about anything. I'm not the best baker but I'm working on it. Check out my photo of Too Much Chocolate Cake.
When I make something new and really good my husband always ask "Is this a all recipe recipe?" He is rather picky so he knows if I got it here it's going to be good. The tips from other cooks are always helpful in letting me know what tweaks will work and what won't, I like that.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have a hashbrown casserole that I like to fix at the holiday's because everyone loves it, it's nice to please everyone and it makes me feel good too. As once said.."In matters of cookery there are not a number of principles, there is only one, and that is to satisfy the person you are serving."

My cooking triumphs
Anything that I can bake that isn't dry or collapsed is a triumph for me.
I do make chocolate cake and carrot cake from scratch. They always turn out well.
My cooking tragedies
I've had so many tragedies I can't narrow it down to one. I would say any time I make breakfast gravy could be a potential tragedy. Lucky for me my husband loves gravy and it could be as thick as plaster and he would eat it. Another tragedy for me is pancakes. I hate cooking pancakes. They always end up too thick or too thin and tear when I flip them. I will stick with frozen pancakes.
