Citrus-Ginger Tuna Steaks
Very yummy tuna & perfect with asparagus or broccoli. I substituted tsuyu sauce (the soup base for the cold soba noodles you get at Japanese restaurants) plus a little extra for the soy sauce, and rice vinegar for the white wine vinegar, and it worked beautifully. I also followed another reviewer's advice and cooked the tuna on the stovetop for 4 min. each side on medium heat. It came out just the way I like it, slightly pink in the middle.

Polvorones de Canele (Cinnamon Cookies)
Needs quite a bit more flour than the recipe calls for & again, halve the cinnamon-sugar mixture for the crust. But all in all, a very enjoyable cookie, particularly for Christmas!

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
The cookies practically beg for a glass of milk, but the texture is too brownie-like for my tastes. Still a wonderful recipe. I used butter instead of margarine and got a nicely shaped cookie. Enjoy~
