About this Cook
I am currently living in Atlanta, GA with my boyfriend. I have started cooking a lot more lately, and I really enjoy it! My boyfriend is one of those people who just throws stuff together and it tastes great... I on the other hand NEED allrecipes because I am a measurer :) I also TRY to cook pretty healthy, so I usually need to tweak a lot of recipes. Though I would prefer to use all the butter and cream my heart desires!!
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy baking (though I try to limit it!) and I love casseroles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family used to always bake a ton of cookies around the holidays together. I think that's why I enjoy baking much more than other styles of cooking.
My cooking triumphs
It's always a great feeling when I cook a nice meal or try something new and get good reviews from the boyfriend !
My cooking tragedies
Strata. I hate strata. Have tried multiple times and it is always inedible!!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta
This was good. Added basil and used more pepper flakes. Simple and tasty.

A Pad Thai Worth Making
This was OK... I had to add extra chicken stock to finish cooking the noodles so I think it diluted the flavor. The sauce tasted a little too fishy for me... Was just different from pad thai I am used to. Would probably make again and tweak the floavors to my liking.

Low-Fat Corn Bread
The BF and I thought this was pretty good. Of course it wasn't as good as full fat rich buttery corn bread but what can you expect ? For a low-fat recipe I thought this was very good.
