Owner of a retail florist, but was in the restaurant industry for years. I also train dogs on the weekends with my husband. Comfort foods, Italian, Mexican, and desserts. I love to order something at a restaurant and go home and try to figure out the dish in my own kitchen. I was my mothers cooking assistant every night in the kitchen growing up. (I obviously got my love of cooking from her.)Most of my childhood memories were spending time with her in the kitchen. My husband telling me that I am the best cook he knows. He would rather have my cooking than go to any restaurant. What a compliment! Oooo... there was one time when I was first learning to cook that I mistakenly put a TBSP of salt instead of a TSP in a cake recipe. (Didnt realize the mistake until after I served it) Yikes that was nasty!
