Decent Chili recipe for sure, but I don't get all the hype.....it's just not that good. Not sure what I'm missing but this did not excite me at all.

Excellent base recipe which I tweaked a little. Whole wheat macaroni....in all the cheesy goodness I couldn't taste the difference and maybe it was a little more healthy. Did not change the proportions...perfect cooking for one amount. Used shredded sharp cheese and Velveeta. Added a pinch of cayenne to the cheese sauce. Used Panko breadcrumbs seasoned with Garlic powder for the topping. Delicious!!

Wow.....easy in yet incredibly complex flavors. Agree on the Salsa Verde substitution and addition of some red pepper flakes. Do not under estimate the power of the finish....a good squeeze of lime,cilantro,sour cream,cheese and tortilla chips on top take this from delicious to sublime. WOW
