I've been baking for a long time - my cookies and desserts are very popular around the holidays. But I've only been cooking full meals the last couple of years. Anything sweet; curry chicken salad; mexican food; appetizers Being from the south, I grew up with alot of comfort food. It's not always the healthiest, but it's good! I just hosted Thanksgiving dinner - our theme was Italian. One dish was bowtie pasta with homemade pesto, olives, grilled italian sausage and parmesan cheese. The other was chicken tetrazzini. The first time I tried to cook a traditional Thanksgiving meal - the turkey was dry and the potatoes were extremely overcooked!
